Boonmee Lab worked closely with 'The Equitable Education Fund (EEF) that aims to improve inequality in education in Thailand with. The main purpose is to support educational missions, research knowledge and information technology in order to help strengthen and improve the quality of human resources including enhancing the ability of Thai people.

What is it?

Information about poor children in Thailand is presented in dashboards. We developed the dashboards and a homepage to show them. The prospective users include government and private entities, educators, and anyone of interest. The dashboard provides an easy-to-understand explanation of the importance of solving poor children problems, the use of funds, and related projects. An anticipated outcome includes attracting more people to the social inequality problem.

Why dashboard and storytelling?

Boonmee Lab organized and analyzed the vast amount of data from the client to understand the contents and set the outcome technique. We chose dashboards not only because they are easy to analyze data, but also because they can present data from different angles to gain insights. In addition, storytelling techniques were used to enhance the understanding of the inequality prevalent in Thai society, such as the difference between the poor and the poorest children, the number of rich and poor children, and the difference in education quality according to income.
